The Central District Attorney's Office has filed a serious indictment against a criminal lawyer accused of extortion by threats. According to the indictment, during 2025 the defendant lent the complainant about 50,000 shekels in cash, of which about 30,000 shekels were returned. In addition, a relative of the defendant, who is also a friend of the complainant, lent him an additional 20,000 shekels, which were not returned. Following the non-repayment, the defendant began threatening the complainant via text and voice messages on WhatsApp, including: “How much of a bastard and whore can you be?”, “Within an hour, guys will be at your home,” and more. It is also alleged that he sent two people to the complainant's home to intimidate him, while his 9-year-old son was present.
