Adar Medutzky has been certified as a jet captain at Arkia, the first woman in the company's history to hold this position. Alongside her, Idan Bahbut was also certified. Her father, Tal Medutzky, is a veteran captain at the company, and together they will be the first father-daughter pair of captains at Arkia.

Arkia Airlines marked a historic milestone this week: Adar Medutzky was certified as a jet captain at the company, becoming the first female pilot in Arkia's history to reach this position. Alongside her, Idan Bahbut was also certified. In a festive ceremony held last week, the company celebrated the certification of the two new captains after they completed their training on Airbus A320/321 aircraft. The extraordinary family story: Adar joins her father, Tal Medutzky, a veteran captain at Arkia for 15 years who flies Embraer aircraft. The two will now be the first father-daughter pair of captains in the history of an Israeli airline. The Vice President of Operations, Captain Yotam Galon, said this was a "moving moment" and that the family story "connects to generations of Israeli achievement."
