With cocaine and ecstasy: four Israelis arrested at drug party on a boat off Greek coast

Greek coast guard raided a private catamaran off the island of Lefkada and arrested four Israelis suspected of participating in a drug party. On the boat, cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis, crystal methamphetamine, unidentified pills, cash in three currencies, phones, and a laptop were seized. Alongside the Israelis, four other suspects from Italy, Latvia, Turkey, and Spain were arrested.

Last week, the Greek coast guard raided a private catamaran off the island of Lefkada and arrested four Israelis suspected of participating in a drug party on the boat. Among the Israelis are businessmen, including one linked to a coffee shop chain in Israel. Alongside them, four other suspects from Italy, Latvia, Turkey, and Spain were arrested. During the search, more than 55 grams of cannabis, about 10 grams of crystal methamphetamine (MDMA), more than 8 grams of cocaine, more than a dozen ecstasy pills, a dozen unidentified blue pills, plates with cannabis residue, bills with cocaine traces, about 7,000 euros in cash in three currencies (including shekels), mobile phones, a laptop, and the boat itself were seized. The affair was reported in Greek media, and the names of the detainees have not yet been disclosed.
