In another case, investigated at the Shalem station, the defendant approached a parked car equipped with a windshield-breaking device, smashed the window, entered the car, and tried to start it. The car owner noticed him, and the defendant fled, but officers located and arrested him shortly after. Upon completion of the investigation and establishment of an evidentiary basis, the indictment was filed for both cases.
