In her first interview with N12 magazine since the tragic death of Yakir Levy, his widow Meital recounts the morning she received the news of his fall from the 28th floor of a luxury hotel in Miami. She describes how she woke up in the north at her sister's house, saw a flood of missed calls, and realized something terrible had happened. A friend of Yakir's arrived accompanied by a medical team and broke the news to her. Meital tells how she told her children – Daniel (12), Emma (11), and Adam (almost 4) – that their father had fallen and died, and how Emma reacted by scratching herself in shock. She firmly denies the possibility that he committed suicide: "There's no chance he would have done that." Meital traveled to Miami about two weeks ago, met with the investigating officer, and collected Yakir's belongings, including his phone. According to her, the phone confirmed her suspicions about people in his inner circle who were not really friends: "There are people who won't sleep well at night when they realize I've seen everything." She also talks about the difficulty of the dual role as both mother and father since his death.
