Widow of Be'eri security chief attacks: 'Start saying no to Americans and yes to Jews'

Sigal Kraunik, widow of the Be'eri security chief, criticized the Peace Council's Gaza outline on 103fm, called for promoting the emigration of Gazans, and warned of the return of terrorism. She said Israel should learn to say 'no' to Americans and 'yes' to Jews, and claimed that 80% of Gazans want to emigrate. Kraunik also said the kibbutz will be resettled in August 2027.

She called for promoting the emigration of Gazans from the Strip and warned that another arrangement could allow the return of terrorism. "It saddens me that we even raise this on the agenda: the State of Israel must start learning to say 'no' to Americans and start saying 'yes' to Jews," she said. She wondered why Gazans are not asked if they want peace, and claimed that "80% of them want to emigrate." Kraunik said she had heard of over thirty countries that conducted negotiations with the Gazans, and noted that she had just returned from a two-week mission in Africa, where there is enough space to emigrate them all. She also said the kibbutz will be resettled in August 2027, and that she has no faith in her neighbors in the Strip, who, she says, stand with a list of conditions that will lead them to commit more terrorism.
