When AI Meets Diplomacy: AI SHIFT Conference Held in Tel Aviv

The Ambassadors Club in Israel held the AI SHIFT conference last night at the Vital Hotel in Tel Aviv, with the participation of about 50 foreign diplomats, honorary consuls, businesspeople, and academics. Experts Alex Kap, Dror Globerman, and Dr. Roey Tzezana lectured on the impact of artificial intelligence on diplomacy, economy, and society. About 50 foreign diplomats from many countries participated, alongside honorary consuls, businesspeople, entrepreneurs, and academics. Among the guests, a special delegation from Thailand stood out, led by the Thai ambassador to Israel, which included ten senior professors from leading universities in the country, visiting Israel as part of a professional program on science and innovation. The event was opened by the President of the Ambassadors Club in Israel, Ambassador Yitzhak Eldan, who welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in an era where artificial intelligence is changing all areas of life. Afterwards, Avi Zak, owner and CEO of the Vital Hotel, also greeted the attendees, expressing his pride in hosting an international event dealing with one of the most significant topics for the future of the world. During the evening, three of Israel's leading experts in artificial intelligence—Alex Kap, Dror Globerman, and Dr. Roey Tzezana—lectured to the participants, presenting the latest developments in the field, the opportunities the technology creates, and the challenges it poses to governments, companies, and organizations worldwide. The conference included professional discussions and networking meetings between diplomatic representatives and senior figures from Israel's high-tech, innovation, and business industries, aiming to encourage international collaborations in innovation, investment, and artificial intelligence.
