Weapon Theft in Susiya: Soldier Summoned to Testify - Indictments on the Way

The soldier, about 25 years old, was on leave and herding sheep in the area when, according to suspicion, he was attacked by several Palestinians who threw stones at him and hit him on the head. During the confrontation, his personal weapon was stolen from him. The soldier was wounded in the head and evacuated for medical treatment in moderate and stable condition. Shortly after the incident, IDF forces located the weapon near the scene and returned it. Meanwhile, a joint manhunt was launched by the IDF, the Judea and Samaria District Police, and the Shin Bet for the suspects. Initially, two of the suspects were arrested, and later, Duvdevan unit fighters arrested a third suspect in the area of the city of Yatta. The fourth suspect surrendered to Civil Administration forces. All four suspects were transferred for investigation by security forces.
