We Will Return to War – Trump Gives Iran a Last Chance

Donald Trump stated that he agreed to mediators' request to give parties time for negotiations with Iran, but warned that if diplomacy fails, the US will return to powerful military action. The main talks are between Iran and Oman, with the participation of Qatar, Pakistan, Egypt, and US special envoys.

US President Donald Trump said he agreed to mediators' request to give parties an opportunity for negotiations with Iran, but emphasized he does not intend to spend much time on this process. In an interview with Axios, he said: 'Everyone involved in contacts with Iran asked me: don't shoot. We are conducting deep negotiations with Iranians. If the negotiations fail, we will return to powerful military action.' The main talks are between Iran and Oman, with the participation of Qatar, Pakistan, Egypt, and on the US side, special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Trump noted that the negotiations must yield quick results, otherwise they will lose their meaning. Earlier, 'Cursor' reported that the US administration has privately reviewed its approaches to actions in the Middle East amid limited interceptor missile stocks.
