Cohen claims that bombings only play into the hands of Iranian propaganda, which uses them to strengthen the authority of the government. He urged Washington to shift to unconventional methods, including covert special operations against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), financial structures, and intelligence apparatus. The veteran emphasized that Tehran's main vulnerability is not the regular army but the elite support system. He proposed acting decisively, creating an atmosphere of fear among regime functionaries. Cohen stated that Israel possesses the necessary intelligence for such operations and expressed hope that the administration of Donald Trump would take advantage of this asset.
