Strategic consultant Attila Shompalbi analyzed Netanyahu's campaign ahead of the 2026 elections in an interview on 103FM. According to him, Netanyahu is working to eliminate the small parties in the right-wing bloc, aiming to reach a situation where they do not pass the electoral threshold at an early stage, even before the lists are closed. Shompalbi claims that Netanyahu is managing the bloc wisely and trying to bring down parties that might burn mandates. He also addressed the concern in Likud regarding Ofer Winter, whom he calls "a Trojan horse implanted in the race," and claims that Winter is trying to convey a different message than that of Religious Zionism. Shompalbi added that there is no majority in the Israeli public for the establishment of a Palestinian state, but Netanyahu is using this issue to frighten the right. He also addressed the struggles over right-wing votes and the organized forces within Likud, noting that half of the voters in the Likud primaries were organized in settlements.
