Police have launched an investigation following a shooting incident near Kseifa, in which two men were wounded, one lightly and one critically. The critically wounded man was pronounced dead at Soroka Hospital. The background to the incident is criminal, according to an initial check. In addition, the death of Raed Hazmiya, a 22-year-old from Haifa, was reported; he was wounded by gunfire in April and died of his wounds months later. He is the 157th victim of deadly crime in Arab society since the beginning of 2026, a 13% increase compared to the same period last year.
