The children face a wide range of disabilities, from cerebral palsy to rare syndromes and epilepsy. The organizers run an active medical room, a team of paramedics, a special feeding system including feeding tubes, and an army of volunteers accompanying each camper personally. For parents like Mor, whose life became a roller coaster of hospitalizations and diagnoses after her daughter Avigail Israel lost the ability to walk and developed severe epilepsy, the camp is a lifeline. The highlight was when the convoy reached the Western Wall plaza in Jerusalem, with dozens of volunteers accompanying the children in wheelchairs alongside ventilators and oxygen tanks.
