Uzi Rabi Convinced: Something Is Happening Between Donald Trump and IRGC Commander Ahmad Vahidi

In an interview with 103FM, Prof. Uzi Rabi, a senior researcher at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Tel Aviv University, assessed that Iran perceives significant weakness on the part of the United States and President Trump. According to him, Israel is "rolling within a reality much larger than our perimeter" and should not rely on the US, but rather look after its own interests. Rabi expressed concern that Trump is trying to redefine the concept of victory to create an exit path for himself. He also addressed Netanyahu's opposition to the 15-point plan of the Peace Council regarding the future of the Gaza Strip, saying he does not believe Hamas will disarm voluntarily. Rabi called on Israel not to take an irreversible step in exchange for something reversible, and noted that Israel holds two-thirds of the Gaza Strip.
