Israeli missile and suicide drone company UVision Air, in collaboration with US defense technology company Mistral, has secured a $50 million follow-on contract from the US Army to supply Hero 120 suicide drones. This deal follows a massive $982 million multi-year contract signed in October 2025. The Hero 120 loitering munition has a maximum range of 40-60 kilometers and an operational duration of about one hour. It can be equipped with various warheads, including those designed to hit armored vehicles and personnel. UVision maintains its own US subsidiary, but Mistral, based in Maryland, specializes in integrating security systems and technologies in the US. The company also collaborates with German firm Rheinmetall and has developed a container-based launch platform enabling swarm attacks and camouflage.
