The US administration has decided to change its approach to military strategy against Iran after the ceasefire period ended. UAE presidential advisor for diplomatic affairs Anwar Gargash stated on social media platform X that the confrontation between Washington and Tehran is entering a new phase. According to him, the focus is shifting to increasing economic pressure, abandoning attempts to control the Strait of Hormuz, and preparing to conclude a memorandum of understanding. Gargash noted that Iran's actions against Arab countries of the Persian Gulf have not brought Tehran the expected result, but have only worsened the country's situation, increased its international isolation, and led to a further weakening of its positions. He emphasized that it is impossible to resolve the conflict through attacks on Arab countries, and the only path to ending the war remains constructive dialogue, de-escalation, and the search for a political solution. Earlier, "Cursor" reported that Iranian authorities sharply reacted to Washington's decision to impose new economic restrictions and warned that they do not intend to succumb to pressure. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps also joined the criticism. The US announced the start of a large-scale economic campaign called "Economic Pariah," aimed at severely limiting Tehran's international ties.
