Bituah Leumi reminded about grants for childbirth. The payment amount depends on birth order: 2,103 shekels for the first child, 946 for the second, 631 for the third and subsequent. For twins — 10,514 shekels, for triplets — 15,771. In most cases, the money is transferred automatically, no application required.

Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, Bituah Leumi reminded Israelis of one-time grants for childbirth. The grant amount depends on the child's order in the family: for the first — 2,103 shekels, for the second — 946, for the third and each subsequent — 631 shekels. For multiple births, the sums are significantly higher: for twins — 10,514 shekels, for triplets — 15,771, for each additional child beyond triplets — another 5,257 shekels. In most cases, no application is needed: the hospital transfers data to Bituah Leumi, and the money is deposited into the mother's account. Exceptions are births abroad, adoption, and surrogacy, where a separate application is required. The main condition for receiving the grant is residence in Israel, although in some cases the payment is also available to non-residents under certain employment conditions.
