Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said that some of the missing had run away from home, some were kidnapped, and some were abandoned, and that most were harmed by those who prey on vulnerable populations. As part of the operation, three men were arrested, including Michael Prescott, who is charged with lewd acts on a minor and aggravated assault. Uthmeier clarified that the investigation is ongoing and further arrests are expected.
