According to local residents and OSINT channels, explosions occurred and a fire broke out; Russian command scrambled at least four MiG-31Ks and relocated them to Begishevo airbase in Tatarstan. In Samara, the TsSKB-Progress plant, which produces launch vehicles and spacecraft, was hit by a missile strike, as was possibly the Aviakor aircraft plant. A large fire was recorded at the site. Indirect confirmation of the use of new Ukrainian missiles came from a post by Fire Point's chief designer, Denis Shtilerman, showing a paired launch. Experts link the operation to the use of long-range FP-5 'Flamingo' cruise missiles. The successful engagement of targets nearly a thousand kilometers from the front line demonstrates the expanding capabilities of Ukrainian precision weapons. Regional authorities have not yet commented on the extent of the damage.
