Ukrainian drones destroyed key elements of Russian air defense near Gelendzhik, close to the so-called 'Putin's palace'. The operation, carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems Forces and special operators, involved two stages: first, a rare electronic warfare system 'Volna Kupol Garant' was disabled, which had been suppressing Starlink satellite communications within a radius of up to 20 kilometers. This opened a corridor for an attack on the S-400 'Triumf' air defense system located on the coast. As a result of a precise strike, a fire broke out with secondary detonation of ammunition, lasting over three hours. Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert 'Magyar' Brovdi reported that the system had been conducting regular missile launches shortly before the strike. The fact of the strike was confirmed by 'before and after' satellite images from the OSINT project Dnipro Osint. Military experts note that the destruction of such systems near one of Russia's most protected facilities demonstrates the vulnerability of Russian strategic sites to modern drone technology.
