Israeli airlines Arkia and Israir are resuming direct flights to Morocco, opening a long-awaited destination for tourists. Initially, only Israeli carriers operate the flights; Morocco's Royal Air Maroc has not yet announced its return to the route. Arkia plans flights twice a week—on Mondays and Wednesdays—using Airbus A320 aircraft, with a flight duration of about six hours. Introductory fares are available: Israir from $482 round trip for dates September 8–16, and Arkia from $498 for dates September 7–14. A return on September 24 costs $527, and during the fall holidays of the month of Tishrei, prices traditionally rise. Experts do not predict whether attractive rates will continue after the initial sales period. Tourists need to obtain an electronic visa, print the confirmation, ensure their passport is valid for at least six months, and be ready to present return tickets and hotel reservations.
