Trump started an economic war against Iran - IRGC threatens the US
IRGC representative Hossein Mohebi responded to US President Donald Trump's statement about starting an economic war against Iran. Mohebi called this an admission of US defeat on the military arena and stated that Iran has ready scenarios for responding to any hostile steps, including economic war.
A representative of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hossein Mohebi, issued a response to US President Donald Trump's statements about economic pressure on Iran. Mohebi stated that Trump's declaration of an economic war is an indirect admission of the enemy's shameful defeat on the military arena. He emphasized that the US has been waging an economic war against Iran for 47 years, imposing sanctions on all sectors of the economy. The IRGC representative noted that the opponents' statements are designed to shape public perception and create a sense of success for American pressure. He assured that Iran has prepared response scenarios for any hostile steps, including economic war, and that the authorities have plans to mitigate the effects of sanctions while continuing to develop ties with other states. According to him, Iran already knows how to bypass American restrictions, and the results of this work will become apparent in the near future.
