Tropper declares: We will not sit under Netanyahu

Hili Tropper announced that his party 'Beit Tzioni - The Reservists' will not sit in a government led by Netanyahu, and will only sit in a Zionist government. Gilad Erdan responded that "voting for Tropper - you get Yair Golan." Tropper and Hendel set conditions for entering the government: forming a Zionist government and enacting a draft law.

Hili Tropper, chairman of the 'Beit Tzioni - The Reservists' party, declared today (Tuesday) on his party's X account that his party will only sit in a Zionist government, will make a "real effort" to expand the government, and will not sit in a government led by Benjamin Netanyahu. Gilad Erdan, chairman of the 'HaAchdut' party, responded to the remarks, saying: "Now things are clear: voting for Tropper - you get Yair Golan. Only my party will not sit in any narrow government, but will bring about the establishment of a broad unity government of both blocs." In the video, Tropper emphasized that his party will focus on the serving public, education, and the periphery. About two weeks ago, Tropper and Yoaz Hendel launched their party's campaign and announced that forming a Zionist government and enacting a draft law before the government's formation are conditions for their entry into the government. The two announced they would demand the position of Minister of National Security for Yoaz Hendel. In July, Tropper and the Reservists party led by Hendel announced they had agreed on a joint run for the 2026 Knesset.
