Police are investigating how long the child was in the car and whether negligence was involved. According to suspicion, the child was forgotten by his father. Professor Eran Kotzer, director of the pediatric emergency department, called on parents to check the back seat and use technological means to prevent forgetting. Medics recounted the initial treatment of the child, who had no pulse and was not breathing.
