Economic expert Muhammad Skik emphasizes that families urgently need two parallel tracks: the first includes food, clothing, and cleaning supplies, and the second provides cash to purchase unlisted needs such as medicines and transportation costs. Skik notes that drying up liquidity and targeting local facilities have pushed residents to severe poverty levels, and injecting cash will help revive the economy. Meanwhile, head of the Palestinian Workers' Unions Federation Sami al-Amsi highlights the catastrophic reality for workers, stating they are the most affected segment, with about 400,000 workers unemployed and poverty rates exceeding 90%. Al-Amsi calls on international institutions to urgently intervene to provide direct financial support to workers, warning of serious social repercussions if the situation continues without effective intervention.
