The letter is based on Section 16 of the Election Propaganda Law, which stipulates that this must be done to allow the public to see the data and ensure that no misleading occurs, including through certain questions. Starting tomorrow, exactly 90 days before the elections, data must be transferred within 96 hours of publication, and in the two weeks before the elections within 24 hours. All data must be transferred, including questions, date of the poll, the commissioning party, polling method, number of participants, and population. Livneh quoted Justice Salim Joubran, saying that 'polls can have misleading and even fateful effects on those lists that are teetering or not passing the electoral threshold.' The committee has established a dedicated and secure website for reporting polls and raw data.
