Three teenage boys rescued by United Hatzalah in Sea of Galilee after drifting to deep waters

Three teenage boys were rescued by United Hatzalah after their rubber boat drifted into deep waters of the Sea of Galilee near Tiberias on Monday night. The boys, suffering from mild dehydration, were brought safely to shore by a rescue vessel. United Hatzalah's Tiberias branch head Yossi Oknin confirmed they were in stable condition. The rescue occurred near Shikmim Beach, and the boys were assessed at the marina. United Hatzalah is a volunteer-based emergency medical organization with over 8,600 active volunteers, and its Tiberias branch is one of the few equipped with an aquatic rescue unit. Oknin noted that the rescue boat has remained on the highest level of alert since the beginning of the summer vacation.
