"Thousands of new Mamdans are roaming all over America": revelations of an anti-Semitism fighter

Sacha Roytman, CEO of the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), gave a stark assessment of the current state of anti-Semitism worldwide in an interview with Ynet published on September 12. He calls the situation "the worst since the Holocaust" and admits that for years he avoided comparisons to the 1930s but now considers them appropriate. Roytman criticizes Jewish organizations, stating that they "failed in protecting Jews" and were caught off guard after October 7, 2023. He notes that organizations with budgets of hundreds of millions of dollars were unprepared for the wave of hatred. He particularly focuses on the threat from new leaders following the example of Zohran Mamdan. "In the US, we are seeing more and more leaders who are moving in Mamdan's direction and expressing hatred towards Israel and Jews in flawless English," says Roytman, calling this a "time bomb." He names Australia and Canada as the most problematic countries. He characterizes Australia as a "weak democracy without a self-defense mechanism" and predicts a wave of repatriation from there. Roytman also calls on Israel to take more responsibility for the safety of diaspora Jews.
