Officers from the Petah Tikva station conducted extensive searches and deployed advanced technological means, until the breakthrough in the early morning hours with the identification of the two by officers from the Bnei Brak station. Dramatic footage from the moment of the arrest revealed the officer who located the two and tried to ascertain the suspect's identity. The child was transferred to a sensitive investigation by a youth investigator, and from the initial investigation it emerged that there was no prior connection between the two and that there was no suspicion of sexual offenses.
