Supreme Court President Yitzhak Amit then said that 'Ben Gvir backs a police officer who incites to a false complaint.' Mansour's lawyers, Diana Shumsky and Moshe Alon, stated that 'there is no flaw in our client's conduct' and that he denies any claim. The affair is linked to the dismissal of Eliasi, a confidant of Minister Ben Gvir, from his position as commander of an emergency response squad, after an investigation revealed that he boasted about his connections in the police. Mansour was released under restrictive conditions.
