Kabsa Avramzon, a well-known figure on the right, is running for the first time for the slot reserved for place 34 on the list. She will compete against Keren Bubil, the candidate promoted by MK David Bitan, and against Osnat Zohar, who is close to Netanyahu but is expected to receive an offer for another role. Sources familiar with the details said that branch heads identified with Netanyahu have begun adding Avramzon to the recommended lists and removing other candidates. Kabsa Avramzon holds a doctorate in management, was born and raised in Hatzor HaGlilit, managed the Hatzor HaGlilit community center during the Second Lebanon War, and researched the connection between the crisis of values and the crisis of governance. Until recently, she was a lecturer at the University of Haifa and chair of the Forum for the Judaization of the Galilee. About 80 candidates will compete tomorrow for a place on the list, and only 17 realistic places exist up to place 30, meaning that 14 MKs and ministers may lose their seats.
