Ahead of the planned "Day of Rage" protests in Greece, a tourism industry source is reassuring Israelis and reports that barely any protest is felt on the ground. According to him, the risk to Israelis in Greece is negligible, and Israelis are received with sympathy, especially after October 7th. However, he warns that provocations by Israeli travelers could ignite clashes, and therefore calls for avoiding provocation. The protests are expected in Monastiraki Square in Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, and other cities, with an estimate of only 100-200 protesters. Israeli tourism continues as usual, and about 200,000 Israelis are currently in Greece and enjoying themselves.
