Maayan Sherman, mother of the fallen hostage Ron Sherman, published a Facebook post yesterday (Monday) warning of a civil war if the current government loses the upcoming elections. According to her, coalition voters and its ministers will not accept the defeat calmly and will lead to street clashes. She described a scenario where a government led by Eisenkot, Bennett, and Golan wins a majority of votes, and asked how supporters of the 'government of destruction' would react, mentioning Minister Ben Gvir and Tali Gottlieb. Sherman, who frequently criticizes the Prime Minister since her son's abduction, also asked whether Netanyahu will remain silent or give a signal to his voters. She concluded: 'This will not be a war of brothers because we have long ceased to be brothers, but this could be a civil war.' Two days ago, she wrote that her daughter Eden is enlisting for combat service, and threatened to take her out if the 'government of massacre and draft dodgers' remains. The article also notes that her father Alex previously published a message about abusive responses Maayan received, including a crude message from a female user. Ron Sherman was killed in captivity with Nick Beizer and Elia Toledano from an IDF airstrike.
