US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said in a Fox News interview that the Iranian regime poses a direct threat to the United States and its allies. According to him, underestimating Tehran's intentions could have dangerous consequences. Huckabee emphasized that regime representatives are openly hostile to the US and ready to act against American interests. "These are people who really want to kill us. And if we don't understand that, we are playing a dangerous game," the ambassador stated. He also linked Tehran to terrorist activity outside Iran, noting that traces of many attacks lead to the Iranian regime. Separately, the diplomat praised Israel's military capabilities in confronting Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah, but noted that Israel finds it harder to achieve results in the information space, where a significant portion of global media is critical. Huckabee also commented on recent IDF actions in Syria, not considering them a deliberate attempt to provoke escalation, but rather a warning to mark the boundaries of what is acceptable.
