An indictment was filed against Bassam Abu Hadouba, Musa Al-Salimi, Ahad Qassem, and an additional minor, after they threw 17 kg of hashish across the border fence into Jordan. According to the indictment, the two threw the drugs near Maoz Hayim, fled from security forces but were arrested. On the Jordanian side, 36 packages were seized. Charges: export of dangerous drugs and violation of sovereignty.

The Southern District Attorney's Office filed an indictment against Bassam Abu Hadouba from Atsam, Musa Al-Salimi from Abu Qurinat, Ahad Qassem from Nof HaGalil, and an additional minor, for exporting 17 kilograms of hashish to Jordan. According to the indictment, on August 22, the defendants met in Nof HaGalil, transferred the drugs hidden under a spare tire using a shopping cart to a warehouse, and from there drove them to the area near Maoz Hayim. At the border area, the drugs were divided into three sacks. Around 2:15 AM, Abu Hadouba and Qassem threw the sacks over the fence and waited until they fell into Jordanian territory. On their way back, they tried to flee from security forces but were arrested. Meanwhile, 36 packages of hashish weighing a total of about 17 kg were seized on the Jordanian side. The four suspects are charged with exporting dangerous drugs and violating state sovereignty at the borders. The prosecution requested their detention until the end of proceedings, and if convicted, to declare the adults as drug dealers and confiscate $15,000 and 3,370 shekels seized from them.
