An indictment has been filed with the Jerusalem District Court against seven individuals involved in the murder of Binyahu Razi (19) on July 11 in Jerusalem. Six of them have been charged with murder, and one - Linor Shason, the mother of one of the main defendants, Avior Shason - will be charged with obstruction of justice and aiding after the fact. In addition to Shason, three minors who were with him are also charged with murder, along with Agam Tzarfati and Shilat Huta, who ordered the murder. According to the indictment, Agam Tzarfati - Razi's ex-girlfriend - and her friend Shilat Huta rented an Airbnb apartment in Nachlaot for the weekend. On Saturday, they left the apartment, went to Linor Shason's home, and showed her and the four defendants signs of injury on their bodies, claiming they had experienced violence from Razi and his friend Matanya. There, the group organized with clubs, knives, and a hammer, and discussed their actions. Linor picked them all up in her car, and they drove to the apartment in Nachlaot. During the ride, threats were heard, and Razi and Matanya left the apartment but returned to get equipment. Inside the apartment, there was a discussion, including a continuous video call between the defendants and Tzarfati and Huta. Tzarfati threatened Razi, and Linor gave instructions. The four defendants attacked Razi and his friend, then fled. Matanya tried to save his friend and called MDA. The police arrested Matanya but released him when they realized he was a victim. After the murder, Linor smuggled Tzarfati and Huta out, and then also picked up the four defendants. Six were arrested about three hours after the murder, and Avior Shason was caught after several days on the run. The police have extensive documentation of the event, including screenshots from the video call and messages between the suspects. There are additional involved parties: David Keren (19) is suspected as a contact person, and a prison service officer is suspected of passing a phone to a prisoner - Avior's brother - who helped in the escape.
