Nine female soldiers from the Nitzanim training base felt ill after the Rosh Hashanah dinner, reporting symptoms of abdominal pain. The father of one of the soldiers told Maariv that his daughter described panic at the base following the incident. According to him, one of the soldiers who felt ill went on guard duty, collapsed from weakness, and broke her arm. Most of the soldiers, except for two, were not transferred to a hospital but received medical care at the base. An IDF source stated that after an examination, there is no widespread illness among the trainees, and about nine soldiers met the case definition, received medical treatment, and were sent to rest as needed. Medical personnel are updated and supervising the treatment.
