The target is marked: Yair Netanyahu in an attempt to thwart a Likud member

Yair Netanyahu called on voters not to vote for David Bitan in the Likud primaries and expressed support for Osnat Zohar. Bitan responded by attacking Haim Katz and claiming that Netanyahu is requesting eight reserved slots, including for Sa'ar and Smotrich, while exploiting the party members.

Yair Netanyahu, son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, issued a public call not to vote for David Bitan in the Likud primaries, and also not to vote for Karen Atias Boblil, who he says is linked to Bitan. He expressed support for Osnat Zohar for a new woman's slot. The remarks came following the public clash between the Prime Minister and Bitan. In response, Bitan attacked Likud Central Committee Chairman Haim Katz, claiming he is 'going to create a faction within Likud because of a political combo' with the Prime Minister. Bitan also questioned Netanyahu's demand for reserved slots: 'We put Netanyahu as number one – if he brings all the votes, why does he bring the reserved slots?' He detailed that Netanyahu is requesting eight reserved slots, of which one to two are guaranteed for Gideon Sa'ar, one for Smotrich, and one possibly for Ben Gvir, as well as one for Haim Katz or Eti Atiya. Bitan claimed that 'the party members are being worked over,' since five of the eight reserved slots are known and do not improve the list. He opposed reserving slots for members of other parties, emphasizing that 'we need to take care of Likud, and then we'll take care of the coalition.'
