The day before, a higher-quality version was also distributed, which managed to garner millions of views and thousands of retweets before being removed and the account that uploaded it was suspended. Studios prepare in advance to deal with such leaks, and X is considered one of the more challenging platforms for handling takedown requests. Despite the leaks, the film crossed the $600 million mark worldwide after just two weekends, according to Variety. The big-budget adaptation of Homer's epic, starring Matt Damon as Odysseus, grossed $353.2 million in international markets and $286.4 million in North America.
