The secrets, connections and pressure levers: Who really controls Mojtaba Khamenei?

Iran analyst Nati Tovian claims that Mojtaba Khamenei is completely subordinate to the Revolutionary Guards, who use pressure levers including his sexual tendencies to control him. Tovian revealed details about his ties with security apparatuses and his involvement in suppressing protests.

During the 'Morning Edition' program on Channel 14, Iran analyst Nati Tovian addressed the status of Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Tovian stated that Mojtaba is a 'puppet in the hands of the Revolutionary Guards' and completely subordinate to them. According to him, Mojtaba was in close contact with intelligence agencies, the Revolutionary Guards, and security apparatuses even before he became close to his father, and he is the one who managed and coordinated the various rounds of suppression in Iran. Tovian revealed that the Revolutionary Guards have 'enough pressure levers' over Mojtaba, including due to his sexual tendencies. He quoted a former clergyman who shed his clerical robes and is now in Austria, who testified that former Intelligence Minister Ismail Khatib was responsible for bringing boys from religious seminaries to satisfy Mojtaba's sexual needs. Tovian emphasized that the boys, who underwent brainwashing, felt proud to satisfy the needs of 'this pervert.' The remarks were made in response to a senior diplomatic source who said that Mojtaba is 'definitely alive.'
