"The reason there is no security for the Gaza envelope": Aid trucks to Gaza blocked

Dozens of Israelis, together with the Tzav 9 and Otef Israel organizations, blocked humanitarian aid trucks at the Gaza border this morning (Tuesday) in protest against the entry of aid into the Strip. The protest came against the backdrop of 10 kites launched in the past month from the Strip towards the Gaza envelope. The demonstrators seek to convey a message against the progress of the Peace Council in rehabilitating the Strip without disarming Hamas. The protesters claimed that the trucks' departure was advanced to 6:30 AM to prevent them from disrupting the aid. One protester said: "These are the trucks that go to Hamas... this is the reason there is no security for the residents of the envelope." Danny Rahamim, spokesperson for Nahal Oz, said: "After October 7th of the Hamas monsters, there is no chance we will accept that Hamas still controls Gaza." Amit Caspi, a resident of Kerem Shalom, demanded "the complete destruction of Hamas." Gilad Erdan, chairman of the "HaAchdut" party, arrived at the scene without coordination with the organizers and was expelled with shouts as he began to speak. Protesters shouted at him: "This is not a political event, don't make it political." Erdan stated that his party came to show solidarity with the residents of the south and to demand that the government not return to the concept.
