Brigade 401 completed eight months of operations in southern Lebanon, during which it destroyed over 1,200 Hezbollah infrastructures, located over 600 weapons, and eliminated over 60 terrorists. The fighters of Brigade 401, who were the first to enter the fighting in Gaza and the last to leave, completed eight months of operations in Lebanon this week. The last of the brigade's fighters left Lebanon, and the brigade commanders held the final combat ceremony at the Roaring Lion monument in Tel Hai. The forces operated as part of the 401st Brigade Combat Team, under the command of Division 91, and were the first to deploy in the field for the 'Roar of the Lion' war. During their operations, they conducted brigade-level raids as part of the 'Fists' plan, aimed at foiling a Hezbollah plan to bring forces from Beirut and the Bekaa Valley to southern Lebanon. The forces destroyed over 1,200 terrorist infrastructures, including underground routes totaling hundreds of meters, destroyed by Battalion 601 in cooperation with Yahalom. They also located over 600 weapons and eliminated over 60 terrorists.
