The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF), a Belgian pro-Palestinian organization, announced today (Wednesday) that it has filed another criminal complaint in India against an Israeli it says is currently on vacation in the country. The organization claims the Israeli is a reserve soldier who, during his service in the Gaza Strip, was involved in the "unlawful destruction of civilian property" in the Khan Younis area. In the complaint, the organization asks Indian authorities to investigate him on suspicion of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and acts of genocide. These are the organization's claims, and no investigation is known to have been opened against the Israeli as a result of the complaint at this stage. Unusually compared to previous complaints, this time the organization did not reveal the Israeli's identity. The complaint focuses on IDF activity in Abasan al-Saghira, east of Khan Younis, during March and April 2024. The organization has so far filed dozens of complaints in about twenty countries. This is the second time in less than three months that the organization has acted against an Israeli traveling in India.
