Now, the test passes to the opposition factions in the Consensus Committee, which must decide whether to support convening the urgent debate or oppose it. Sukkot requests that the debate focus on the film's content, the false allegations against IDF soldiers, and how the state should deal with the hasbara damage and its impact on global public opinion. The 80-minute film relies on anonymous testimonies from 24 Israelis who allegedly 'served' in the military and intelligence system. The festival's official synopsis claims the film reveals 'calculated mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.' Following the premiere, approximately 24.5 minutes of applause were recorded, the longest documented at the festival, during which PLO and Lebanese flags were raised.
