A bus driver for the 'Superbus' company, a 26-year-old from East Jerusalem, was detained for questioning on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs in Jerusalem. The police announced this morning (Wednesday). The incident occurred two days ago during a proactive operational activity by detectives from the Jerusalem District Traffic Unit (Yamar Eitan) together with officers from the Oz station, who stopped the driver for a check. The check revealed a positive result for the use of dangerous drugs, specifically cocaine and cannabis. Following a hearing held for the driver by a police officer at the Oz station, it was decided to suspend his driving license for 30 days and to take the bus out of service for a period of 30 days. The driver's bus was removed from the road.
