These included arrests of a number of citizens, among them released prisoners, alongside tightening restrictions on Palestinian movement and travel between areas. In occupied Jerusalem, thousands of settlers stormed the Old City on the eve of the so-called "Hebrew New Year," amid a deployment of occupation forces that raided the town of Anata and the vicinity of Qalandia camp. In Jenin Governorate, forces launched a wide-scale raid campaign targeting the towns of Kafr Dan and Silat al-Harithiya, raided homes of released prisoners, and arrested young men Fadi al-Hindi and Mahmoud Khaled Yassin. They also arrested released prisoners Harith Masad and Bashir Masad in the village of Faqqua. The raids extended to Tubas Governorate, where occupation forces raided the town of Tamun and al-Far'a camp, entered the city of Jericho from its northern entrance, and raided the village of Tel southwest of Nablus. In Ramallah and al-Bireh, forces raided al-Am'ari camp and arrested a young man. In Hebron, they raided al-Arroub camp and arrested six citizens, breaking the contents of the home of citizen Ziad al-Badawi before arresting him. In Qalqilya, forces set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Immatin. These raids come amid escalating Israeli aggression against the West Bank.
