The drug is taken as one pill a day, unlike existing injectable medications. It does not require fasting, a fixed time of intake, restriction on drinking water, or refrigeration – a significant logistical advantage. The drug is intended for adults with obesity or overweight with a related disease, in combination with diet and exercise. It is available in six dosages, from 0.8 mg to 17.2 mg. Its price ranges from 691.59 shekels to 1,146.46 shekels. The drug has been submitted for approval to the Ministry of Health and for the current health basket.
