The New Communars of the Ariel Movement Conquer the Knesset

The new communars of the Ariel youth movement completed a special leadership week ahead of their official entry into the role in the upcoming Elul. During the week, they met with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, the movement's rabbi, and Knesset members, and sang the movement's anthem in the corridors of the Knesset with the Deputy Speaker.

The new communars of the Ariel youth movement completed a special and pivotal leadership week ahead of their official entry into the role and leading branches across the country in the upcoming Elul. During the intensive week, the young leaders underwent workshops on leadership, guidance, and dealing with diverse educational challenges. As part of the training, they embarked on a special 'pin journey' during which they marched in the dead of night and received the official communar pin. The leadership week concluded with a special day in Jerusalem, which included a visit to the home of Rabbi Kook, a conversation with the movement's rabbi, Rabbi Eitan Eizman, and a meeting with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich at the Knesset. Smotrich shared insights on striving for excellence with the youth. Knesset members Zvi Sukkot and Simcha Rothman encouraged them, and Deputy Speaker Michael Biton joined in spontaneous singing of the movement's anthem. The week ended at the Western Wall plaza with a prayer for the success of their mission.
