The man who attacked Israelis in Thailand released from custody: 'Roaming free in Koh Phangan or Koh Samui'

Paul William Berko Gober, a French citizen, was released from custody in Thailand after bail of about 12,000 shekels was paid for him. Last week, he violently attacked an Israeli mother (62) and her daughter (23) in Koh Phangan on antisemitic grounds. The mother, who is still hospitalized after two surgeries, said they were notified of his release and that he is roaming free in Koh Phangan or Koh Samui. She expressed concern for their safety and called for his identity to be publicized, describing him as a "scoundrel and monster" and a danger to the public, especially to Jews and Israelis. The mother recounted the attack: Gober provoked them after hearing they were from Israel, said he doesn't like what Israel is doing in Gaza, and then attacked them. The daughter tried to defend her and was also injured. The mother underwent two ear surgeries after being bitten, and her daughter underwent two nose surgeries. Both were seriously injured and hospitalized. Gober was also violent toward police during his arrest.
