The issue arose against the backdrop of the airport's recovery after flights resumed in December 2025. Currently, a 900-car parking lot is being built near the terminal, and authorities are discussing launching a bus route from a major city lot. Until the projects are completed, passengers are advised to use public transport. Earlier, Kursor reported that Air Haifa airline will add a new flight from Haifa to a Greek city starting at the end of October.
